Today after school, went to buy the The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor ticket as my baobei was so eager to watch the movie. We watched the movie at 7.40pm and bought our ticket at 1.30pm. Though i bought it at 1.30pm, the tickets were selling fast as at that time i can only bought the 2 tickets at the first 6 rows. Lucky i bought the tickets early if not i think if i later buy, there will be no more tickets available at the timeslot of 7.40pm.

Due to my baobei will be having event on 1st to 3rd August, he have no chance to celebrate my 21st birthday so he decided to have an advance celebration.

So in the evening, my baobei and i had our dinner at Tampines Mall restaurant name Phin's Beerhaus n Grille. Both of us was quite disappointed about the food as the quantity of food was too little and cost expensive for that amount of food. Other than the food, the thick shake was nice which i think is worth to drink and buy at the place. After dinner, we went to watch the movie.





Summary:

The film begins with a narration about the rise to power of Emperor Han, the Dragon Emperor. It details the relationship between him and Zi Juan who knows the secrets of immortality, which is the only battle that Han cannot win. Han declares to his first in command General Ming that no one is to touch Zi Juan, however ever since General Ming was charged with finding Zi Juan and bringing her to Han, he has fallen for her. After Zi Juan supposedly casts the immortality spell on Han, he claims he feels its power and ushers Zi Juan to the balcony where they look down to see General Ming tied at the arms and legs about to be pulled apart by horses. Han found out about their relationship and kills Ming while Zi Juan watches. He then stabs her but she escapes. Knowing that the Emperor would destroy the world if he were to become immortal, Zi Juan places a curse on him and his army to be turned to stone.

Explorer Rick O'Connell, his wife Evelyn and brother-in-law Jonathan are now retired. Rick is shown to be practicing fly fishing with little success. Evelyn has released two books about mummies which are obviously about her real life chronicles but at a book reading she declares that the character in the book is completely different from her. Their son Alex has dropped out of school and has become what the older O'Connell's still long to be, explorers and adventurers. Alex along with the financial backing of Roger Wilson, excavates and finds the Dragon Emperor's tomb but is attacked by a mysterious woman. They avoid being harmed and successfully bring the Emperor back to civilization. In the meantime, the British government entrusts the elder O'Connell's to take the Eye of Shangri-La back to China as a good faith gesture from the British to the Chinese. All the O'Connell's arrive at Imhotep, the night club that Jonathan now owns in Hong Kong. As they continue to Alex's exhibit, Roger, General Yang and his second in command Choi intervene, take the Eye of Shangri-La and force Evelyn to read the script to open the Eye and release the Emperor. Alex finds the mysterious woman from the excavation site at the exhibit and after a quick dialogue help in freeing Alex's parents. With the resurrected Han escaping with General Yang, the O'Connell's chase them through the streets of Hong Kong until the Dragon Emperor and Yang are able to escape.

The mysterious woman reveals herself to be Lin a protector of the Dragon Emperors tomb and says that Han will try to become immortal by going to Shangri-La using the Eye as its guide. The O'Connell's, Jonathan and Lin trek through the Himalayas with the help of Mad Dog Maguire and reach the tower that will reveal the path to Shangri-La when the Eye is placed on top of it. General Yang with his soldiers and the Emperor arrive shortly after and a a battle ensues. As the battle wears on, Lin yells to the mountains and beckons three yeti that protect the group and fend off the enemy soldiers. The Emperor grows impatient and is able to place the Eye on top of the tower to reveal the path to Shangri-La. Alex then triggers an avalanche from a bomb which buys them time to reach Shangri-La first.

Once they arrive, they are greeted by Zi Juan who is then revealed to be Lin's mother. They are immortal and have guarded the secrets of the Emperor for over 2,000 years. The Emperor arrives and is able to bathe in the pool which brings him back to his human form. His power is fully revealed and he, in the form of a three-headed dragon, kidnap Lin and fly to his Terracotta Army at the excavation site.

The Emperor summons his army and Zi Juan is able to summon the army of undead comprised of the Emperors enemies that he had buried beneath the Great Wall of China. Led by General Ming, the army of the undead and the Terracotta fight. An epic battle ensues which includes a one-on-one fight between Zi Juan and the Emperor resulting in her sacrificing herself in order to take the sacred dagger from the Emperor, which is the only weapon that can kill him. Meanwhile, Alex saves Lin and as the battle subsides, they find Zi Juan dying who gives the dagger to Lin and tells her to stab the Emperor through the heart.

Rick and Alex follow the Emperor to his main chamber and a fight ensues. Outside the main chamber, Lin and Evelyn are met by General Yang and Choi which are eventually disposed of. As the fight between Han and Alex comes to a brief end, Rick is able to plunge the dagger into the back of Han while he is in animal form turning him back human. Han and Rick fight without the use of sorcery and Han takes the upper hand. During the fight, the dagger is broken into two pieces. Alex is able to take one piece and leaves a sign for his dad to pick up the other piece and work as a team to plunge the dagger into the Emperors heart. In the climactic moment, Alex jumps from behind the Emperor with the dagger while simultaneously Rick stabs the emperor through the heart from the front. The dagger is pulled out and the Emperor dies a dramatic death.

Back at Imhotep, Mad Dog is the new owner and we find Lin, who gave up her immortality along with Zi Juan in order to kill the Emperor, dancing with Alex. Rick and Evelyn are dancing as well. We see Jonathan getting into a cab with the Eye of Shangri-La as he drives off to the airport to live in Peru, where he claims is a place where there are no mummies. After he leaves, a caption appears on the screen stating that a few weeks later there were mummies discovered in Peru.

Today after school, Hui Shan, Yet Pheng and me went to Bugis. Both of them having a head pain to buy for my birthday present as this coming friday will be my 21st birthday. Hence i accompanied them to choose present for myself. ^_^

Before we go buy my present, we went to buy the korean street food at the basement level. They have new variety of food so i bought 1 of their new food that is their sotong. The taste is very good , i kind of like the taste. After i decided on what to buy for my present, since the present was below their budget by $5 hence i ask them buy this plushie for me: It is as APPLE plushie

They bought me a very big and flat dog plushie which usual price selling at $69 and now due to promotion it is now selling at $35. However, this plushie was selling at $200+ at the shop 1 year ago and now drop that much and this plushie is still selling at BHG at $265. So i think the plushie is quite worth it at the price of $35.

Guess what? My tamagochi gave birth to 2 child. The father of the child was Jing Jing's Tamagochi where as the mother of the child was my Tamagochi. Each of us take care of 1 child and both of the kids is female.

Today met my buyer who was interested on my comics and also watch the movie The Dark Knight. I give the movie a 4/5 stars as i like the Joker act an evil villain.
Summary:

The film begins with the Joker robbing a mob-owned bank with several other accomplices, whom he tricks into killing each other. That night, multiple Batman impersonators interrupt a meeting between mobsters and the Scarecrow. The real Batman subdues everyone, but suffers injuries which lead him to design a more versatile suit. Batman and Lieutenant James Gordon contemplate including the new district attorney Harvey Dent in their plan to eradicate the mob, as he could be the public hero Batman cannot be. Harvey Dent is found to be dating Wayne's love interest, Rachel Dawes. The mob bosses meet to discuss how to handle Batman, Gordon, and Dent, while a Chinese mobster accountant, Lau, lets the gang leaders know he has taken their money to Hong Kong to prevent the police and the district attorney from seizing it in an imminent bank raid. The Joker arrives unexpectedly, offering to kill Batman for half their money.

When Batman successfully abducts Lau in Hong Kong and delivers him to the Gotham City police, the mobsters agree to hire the Joker. The Joker tells all of Gotham that if Batman does not turn himself in to the police, people will die each day. When the Joker begins killing public officials, including Commissioner Loeb and the judge presiding over the mob trials, Wayne decides to turn himself in. Before he can do so, Dent announces that he is Batman, to draw the Joker out of hiding. The Joker attempts to kill Dent, but Gordon and Batman intervene and arrest him.

Batman interrogates the Joker, who reveals that Dawes and Dent have been taken to opposite sides of the city, far enough apart that Batman does not have time to save both of them, and placed in warehouses rigged with explosives. Batman speeds off to save Dawes, while Gordon and the police head after Dent. However, the Joker has switched the locations, sending Batman after Dent and Gordon after Dawes. With the help of a bomb planted at the police station, the Joker escapes with Lau in tow. Batman arrives at Dent's location in time to save him, but Dent sustains burns to the left side of his face. Gordon does not arrive in time to save Dawes, and she is killed in the explosion. In the hospital, Dent is driven to madness over the loss of Dawes. The Joker frees Dent from the hospital and convinces him to exact revenge on the cops, mobsters, Gordon, and Batman.

While Harvey "Two-Face" Dent confronts the corrupt cops and the mobsters one by one, flipping a coin to decide their fates, the Joker burns Lau along with the mob's money. The Joker announces to the public that he will rule the streets and that anyone left in Gotham at nightfall will be subject to his rule. With the bridges and tunnels out of the city closed due to the Joker's bomb threat, the authorities begin evacuating people by ferry. The Joker places explosives on two of the ferries—one carrying convicts, the other with civilians—telling the passengers on each that the only way to save themselves is to trigger the explosives on the other ferry; otherwise, at midnight he will destroy them both remotely.

Batman locates the Joker and prevents him from destroying the ferries. After being defeated by Batman, the Joker acknowledges that Batman truly is incorruptible, but that Dent was not and that he has unleashed Dent's madness upon the city. The Joker is subsequently captured by the SWAT team. Batman finds Dent holding Gordon and his family at gunpoint at the remains of the building where Dawes died. Dent proceeds to judge Batman, himself, and Gordon's son through the chance of a coin flip. Dent shoots Batman in the abdomen, but before he can determine the boy's fate Batman tackles him over the side of the building. As Dent lies motionless on the ground, Batman and Gordon realize the fallout and loss of morale the city would suffer if Dent's acts of murder became known. Batman convinces Gordon to blame him for the murders to preserve Dent's image. As Gordon destroys the Bat-Signal, a manhunt is issued for Batman.

Today was the last day of the event and again things really messed up such as the venues and time. Overall i enjoy talk given by Mr Kevin Wanzer from USA and Mr Glenn Lim from Singapore. Mr Kevin Wanzer talks was very interesting and he could make the audience laugh while Mr Glenn Lim talks more about his past experience.

Finally tomorrow there will be no school so i could rest at home hopefully could recover all the sleep that i had miss for the past 2 days

Today event was terrible and the below photos were taken during the event.










In the morning there were no briefing about where and what to do when the event start. There were no instruction being passed down and there were suppose to be a few volunteers (secondary school) did not appear through out the entire day. There were no whistles, group name list as promised to be given to us.

When separating the participants into their games, the instruction pass down during the meeting
session (18^th July 2008 and 22^nd July 2008) was totally different from what on the actual day. Everything was in a mess as we can’t identify who were in which game and where should we brought them to as 1 team different people with different games and location whereas only sergeant 1 and 2 were there to guide them along.

During the games, participants was being assign to 2 different session of games and due to no information and instruction passed down, the volunteers just stick to their original places and just look after the participants.

When the game was ongoing, got a few students injured themselves and the St John did not do their job by attending to them.

There were a lot last minute changed of venue and the speaker who announced the venue and information was not updated. Some of the venues were changed without informing any of us to take note and end up making the participants climbing ups and downs.

Before the concert start, there was no instruction to be given on how to handle the participants and where they should sit. As a result, inside the Auditorium was quite messy.

During the concert, some of our volunteers when down to the stage to join in the fun and when the participants saw, they followed and ending making the place into crowed and rowdy as some pushing and fighting were going on when in front of the stage. Most of the volunteers did not help to clear and take care of the crowd and went outside the Auditorium.

Today after school, Hui Shan, Yet Pheng, Jing Jing and me bought a tamagochi at Toy ' r 'Us. Due to some technical issue, i am unable to upload my tamagochi photo. All i could say was, Yet Pheng - Dark Pink, Hui Shan - Light Blue, Jing Jing & me - Light Pink.

Some information of tamagochi version 4:

The Version 4 is loosely based on the Japanese "EnTama" series. Part of its European, Asian and Australian name, JinSei, is Japanese, meaning "life". It's motto is "Livin' the Tamagotchi Life", symbolising how the V4 toys are similar to everyday life. The V4 toys sold in Canada and the United States are currently available in 6 different shell designs, one of which was chosen by fans of the toy in late 2006 as part of Bandai's "Great Shell-ection" contest. The winning design is white with zig-zag stripes that glow in the dark. The packaging is identical to other V4 toys, except for a small trophy sticker that reads "Winning Design!".

The Version 4 has a TamaTown separate from the TamaTown for the Version 3. By putting a password and username on the screen, the user can earn Gotchi Points in the Version 4 TamaTown. They will also be able to see their character on the computer screen. There is a school and a kindergarten that the Tamagotchi can visit in TamaTown. The characters are a mixture of the ones from the Japanese releases "Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus" and the original "Tamagotchi Plus" as well as form the Mesutchi and Osutchi Tamagotchis, they are placed in 3 groups: Mame Group(MameZoku), Meme Group(MemeZoku), Kuchi Group(KuchiZoku). The Version 4 has new and updated games. The games include Jumping Rope, Mimic, Dance, Shape, and Flag. [ The player's Tamagotchi may also get a job depending on how they raise their Tamagotchi. There is also a new mail feature.

• The star icon represents the Tamagotchi's fortune. If the user opens up this type of mail the screen will show certain icons and stars next to them. The icons include a money bag to represent money, a heart to represent friendship, and a body to represent health. The stars next to the icons represent how much luck the user's Tamagotchi will be in the respective areas,they range from one to three. For example, if there is one star in the health area the Tamagotchi will be more likely to get sick, but if there are three stars, the Tamagotchi will be very unlikely to get sick.
• The mail icon represents regular mail. The Tamagotchi may get mail from the king, get robbed or receive other things.
• The important mail icon is for information of the Tamagotchi's life, for example, if a teacher wants to invite the Tamagotchi to go to school. The Tamagotchi does not receive this type of mail often.

Tamagotchi Connection V4 has new connection options. Not only can the player go to this icon to connect to another Tamagotchi but can also use it to have their Tamagotchi go to school or to work.

The player can also use passwords to "login" to their computer to have their Tamagotchi in TamaTown which has info on the second paragraph. When the player wants to connect to another Tamagotchi they either can press V4 or Others. If the player presses V4 three options would pop up: Game, Present, and Visit. If the player chooses Games, the two Tamagotchi will compete in a randomly selected game for Gotchi points. If the player chooses Present, their Tamagotchi give the other Tamagotchi a gift. If the player chooses Visit, one Tamagotchi will go to the other Tamagotchi and spend time together. On the other hand, if the player chooses Others, they will be able to connect to the older Connections and the two Tamagotchi will randomly either give each other presents, or play a game with each other.

Today's presentation for OAM, made me scared awhile due to Natri missing in action for 1 hour before our presentation start. Lucky my lecturer gave us additional 15 minutes, if she never arrive, we will start without her.

Today was Fiona Xie turn to come to my school for performance and due to i am not interested i actually decided to leave the indoor spot hall after playing the games there. Natri suddenly want to go to the stage to book space for a better view to see Fiona, however we kept find her but still can't see her. End up we gave up on looking for her and left for our lunch.

After lunch, went to Century Square walked awhile and rest in the level 2 toilet. In the toilet Hui Shan, Yet Pheng and me met a 'mentally problematic'' woman/aunty who suddenly asked us to squeeze with us in the sofa and ask sort of funny question plus talking about what she ate during her lunch. I don't borther to entertain the woman due to she was rude to us in the first place and why should we reply her when she talking to us but Yet Pheng and Hui Shan did reply to her.

For the past 1 hour, the woman still in the toilet all by herself while we were using the laptop inside the level 2 toilet. We met another woman but this time, the woman was quite friendly in the way of speaking and ask some questions regarding the laptop.

On Monday, there will be no lesson for my class and finally i will have a one day break after the 2 days event. This consider a good news for my class. Just now had some conflict within Natri and me due to some misunderstanding but as most of my close friends know that i am those if i am not in a wrong and any how blame on me, i confirm will say back. However i trying to control myself loosing temper by logoff my msn to prevent from any arguments. The main problem of this conflict actually was none of my business as i never in the first place saying want to watch Fiona and why should blame me never turn up.
